Why not force the door yourself?
Credit cards, coat hangers and shoulders usually cost more than a locksmith. Forcing a door can split the frame, break the strike plate or bend a car's door seal. A trained technician can usually open the door without that damage.
After you're back in
If keys were lost rather than just locked inside, consider rekeying so the lost key can't be used. The technician can do this on the same visit.

Common questions
Do you need proof that I live here?
Yes. We'll ask for ID or other proof of residence or ownership before opening a door or vehicle.
Can you open a smart lock with a dead battery?
Many smart locks have an emergency power contact or a backup key cylinder. We can usually get you in and replace the battery or fix the lock.
Will I get a price first?
Yes. You'll be quoted before work begins, so there are no surprises when the door opens.
